"I decided to use my regular Hummus recipe and add some spinach and extra spices. I liked the flavor a lot, so I thought I'd share it."
INGREDIENTS:
1 can of chick peas, drained (reserve liquid for later)
1 1/2 c. fresh spinach sauteed with 1 t. olive oil until wilted
1/4 c. tahini
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/4. t. salt
1/2 t. onion powder
DIRECTIONS:
In food processor place drained chickpeas and blend. Add other ingredients one at a time blending in between. Add reserved liquid from chick peas (this is important to do last so it blends correctly)

I do that very often. Makes it easy for me.
Jen, I just found your blog whilst wandering from my own (new) blog. I always make my own humus but this sounds like a great alternative for a change. You have great blogs! I don't know how to really do mine, so it's rather boring so far. Perhaps you'd like to check it out and give me some clues?

I've copy and pasted a few of your recipes here to my computer. We try to eat 80% raw foods so always on the lookout for good recipes.
